While AT’s high population of American teachers leads some to believe that English is its primary focus, Abaarso Tech is first and foremost a math school.  AT students take 3 separate math classes in their 9^th grade year, 2 in 10^th grade, 2 in 11^th grade, and 1 in 12^th grade.  This intensive program is designed to fix the core primary mathematics that are so often weak in this developing country while also teaching reasoning skills and advancing the students through Advanced Placement Calculus.
